Allowed without a permit (the conditions are met)

  • Back garden: exemption possible.
  • Area 12 m² (limit: 40 m² for all detached outbuildings together).
  • Height 2.6 m (limit: 3.5 m).
  • Distance to the boundary 1.5 m (at least 1 m in the back garden).
  • Distance to the house 12 m (maximum 30 m).

Simplified check: the exemption only applies if all conditions are met together, and the municipality's zoning plan can forbid an outbuilding.
